Introducing our new ‘Bla(c)k Lives Matter Links’

We now have a place on Bright & Dark where you can find links to key resources about…

  • Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples
  • Anti-Racism
  • Allyship
  • Campaigns & Petitions
  • Colonialism and Decolonisation
  • Indigenous knowledge systems
  • White supremacy/fragility
  • And beyond…

The page can be found at www.brightanddark.net/blmlinks. Or via the [THEMES] menu above.

This page will evolve over time and we will use it as a place to feature key items that come up in our discussions.

A special thanks and deep bow to Oonagh who has volunteered to be the caretaker for this page for us. ()

Reflection on us-we
when I first read this new way of being-ness yes there was recognition
i know what that means
but not sure if i really felt the meaning
so after Susan asked me on sunday i couldn’t respond with any truth.

Feeling the knowing but not really making deep connection- but an inquiry began so today in my workplace spontaneously the us-we notion arose
I noticed an actual physical sensation around the eyes as if they were widening out to the sides of my face.
Less frontal focus and not so much ‘I’ focus
There was also a far more inclusive feeling of not being on the outside of experience and that I didnt really need to be on that outside. Wow! a choice!

Warmest thanks to you Warren and Oognah
For setting up and caretaking this resource page: for me such an important time to be open and learning.

Thank you so much Oognah and Warren for making this happen; for sharing. Such a precious and considered resource.
